Earl Gray Tea Lattes have long-been one of our favorite drinks. The combination of strong black tea plus milk and honey makes for a delicious pick-me-up.
Finally, a summer version of the rainy day favorite has arrived, and it’s just one more lavender thing we can’t get enough of.
So save your Starbucks funds—this new beach fave is easily made at home.
What You’ll Need
Earl Grey Tea
Milk (or almond milk)
Heavy Cream (or full-fat coconut milk)
Brew Earl Grey tea and set aside in the fridge to cool off.
Make Lavender Cream
Combine ½ cup of heavy cream and ½ cup of milk in a pot on medium-low heat. Stir in honey as the milk warms up, then add lavender. Let simmer for a few seconds then remove from heat and steep for 30 minutes. Strain lavender from the mixture, and place in fridge to cool.
Put it all together!
For one iced latte, mix 1 ¼ cup Earl Grey, ⅓ cup milk, and 2 tbsp of lavender cream. Add ice and pack it in your fave insulated mug to enjoy at the beach or poolside.
Psst….enjoy lattes for days: Extra lavender cream is good for 10 days in the fridge.
