DIY Marble Frame

For this weeks DIY,  we will be introducing another Prynt Ambassador! Say hello to Lauren Parra!

With her very artistic skills, she shared with us a new way to decorate our picture frames marble style 🤗

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Gloves
  • Waxed paper (bigger than your frame size)
  • Chicken Wire Unfinished Frame
  • Big bowl or Bucket that will fit the sides of your frame
  • Water
  • 5 Nail polishes (different colors; you will need the whole bottle)
  • Unwanted toothbrush
  • Mini clothes pins
  • Prynt photos or mini photos

Step 1:

Begin prepping by filling your big bowl/bucket with a lot of water and laying wax paper on the side.

Step 2:

Put on your gloves and pour your nail polishes into the water. While pouring, you can create a tie-dye like design.

Step 3:

Immediately grab your frame and dip each side of the frame into the nail polish water carefully.

Step 4:

Lay the dipped frame onto the wax paper for it to dry.

Step 5:

Nail Polish may have caught onto the chicken wire during the dipping process. If so, wait for the nail polish to dry. Once dried, use a toothbrush to brush away the nail polish on the chicken wire.

Step 6:

Once the frame has dried, you can hang your Prynt photos with the mini clothes pins!

This DIY can be done for any unfinished frame you may have at home. Share with us your frames on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or Pinterest! Comment down below and let us know what DIY you would like to see next!
