DIY Spring Break Countdown Calendar

With Spring Break around the corner, one of our Prynt Ambassadors, Abi Floresca, created a Spring Break countdown calendar to help her get through midterms! This DIY was inspired by her love for vintage maps and the magic of traveling.

If you are just as excited about Spring Break as Abi is, follow along and get inspired!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • White Paper
  • Paper towel
  • Tea Bag
  • Glass of water
  • Hair dryer (optional)
  • Glue
  • Twine
  • Scissors
  • Sharpie/coloring pencils
  • Mini post-it notes
  • Prynt Photos

Step 1:

Steep the tea bag in water for 2-3 mins.

Step 2:

Place the white paper over a paper towel. Take out your tea bag and wipe it all over your white paper. This technique will make your paper look very vintage like.

Step 3:

Use your hair dryer to blow dry your paper. If you do not have a hair dryer, air drying will be fine. Air drying will just take more time.

Step 4:

You can decorate your calendar with the location you are flying from and to. In Abi’s calendar, she is flying from North America to Europe. You can either draw on your locations or print images of the countries to glue on.

Step 5:

Stick on your Prynt photos using the adhesive back and border the photos with the twine.

Step 6:

On the bottom right of your calendar, stick on your post it notes with your countdown numbers till Spring Break.

Vuala! Your Countdown calendar is ready to be used🏝☀️✈️
