There are countless ways one can display photos. Whether it’s with paper clips attached to string or in frames, there’s no doubt that any DIY picture holders are a great way to spice up any room. Since it’s finally October, we’ve come up with a DIY pumpkin holder with a little twist.

Here’s what you need:

  • Craft pumpkins
  • Craft paint
  • Foam brush
  • 20 gauge wire
  • Pliers
  • Prynt Photos

Step 1:

Paint your pumpkins in any color you’d like and let them dry. Start with a layer of white paint to ensure that the colors really show and then paint 3 layers of your choice of colors to achieve an opaque look.

Step 2:

Add some personality to your pumpkins by using alphabet stickers to spell out your favorite motivational words or catch-phrases.

Step 3:

Cut a 5-inch piece of wire and use pliers of your hands to create a spiral shape at one end of the wire.

Step 4:

Insert the straight end of your wire into your pumpkins. Most craft pumpkins are made of styrofoam so it’ll be easy to poke the wire through.

Step 5:

Attach your favorite Prynt Photos by sandwiching them between the outermost spiral ring and the remaining inner rings of each wire holder. (See photo at top for end product.)
